Bronco 12U

BRONCO 12U™ LEAGUE is a continuation of the philosophy to fit the diamond to the physical potential of the players.

The bases and pitching distances are scaled up slightly from MUSTANG 10U™ LEAGUE.

The transition diamond used in BRONCO 12U™ LEAGUE, permits infielders and outfielders to select their defensive positions in relationship to the anticipated speed of the ball when they field it.

Without this transition diamond, BRONCO 12U™ LEAGUE players play their position disproportionately closer to the bases, infield and pitcher.

This diamond positions the infielders and outfielders in direct proportion to that assumed by Major League Baseball players and Professional Girls Softball players and permits the younger players to play the game as it was designed to play.

12U Interlock Rules (Voted 03.06.22)

Game time is 1:45, no new inning after 1:40
USA Stamped bats must be used
Run rule is 7 runs per inning
One Warning per pitcher are given on balks
No courtesy runners may be used
All Coaches are required to carry and maintain pitch count logs to all games.
No Jewelry must be worn - Exception is medical reasons
Pitch count is based off league age of player
Use Pony pitch count for number of days of rest - Pitchers that reach their max daily pitch count will be allowed to finish the batter with the pitches not counting against them.
Metal cleats are not allowed on pitching mound
